Re: Kit Tuning Seat Toledo MK1
Hi.
I have seen that you have spotted my car on the Seat-portal.de website. Through a certain search quest I landed into this topic and it surprised me to see my own car here, haha.
The car is a Seat Toledo 1.8 Sport from 1993 in the color Tornado Red. I own it now for about 4.5 years and when I bought it, it was still original with 116.000 km. Now it has about 170.000.
Let me tell you more about some of the modifications that you could see in the pictures:
- RDX Racedesign complete bodykit
- custom made headlights, based on Hella 90mm modules, with 8000K Xenon light (It is a metal frame with the modules in it, with a seperate cover for each headlight.
- Chery imported rear lights from China
- BSS Airride system with remote control
- Roof spoiler, imported from Czech Republic
- Lenso BSX (BBS imitation) 16 inch wheels in black version
With the repaint job (the same time as the bodykit change) I wanted to keep the original red color, but with some black accents. I am very happy with the result.

Re: Kit Tuning Seat Toledo MK1
It's a good Toledo, personally I don't like so much the body kit but I must recognize that it has a good and hard job!, very good sound system, in the trunk is very organized! and I also like that you keep the original "S" of SEAT. Fantastic man!
Greetings from Spain!

Re: Kit Tuning Seat Toledo MK1
Thank you for the compliments.
Yes, after the respray I drove around without the badge "S" on the front, but I had the feeling that I was missing something, so I put the badges back on the front and on the rear. I like it better like this than without.
I want to try to re-organize the trunk in the summer and to get a new interior (new car seats). How many Executive 1L or Podium 1L editions are still driving around in Spain? In the Netherlands (and even in Germany) it is very difficult to get a nice original Toledo interior....

Here is very dificult too, in Barcelona is more easy to see and found it, the podium's interior is imposible to found, in this forum there is one still alive. Poland is the most country where you can see usually... Have you think about to upholster your seats? There are many good options!

Re: Kit Tuning Seat Toledo MK1
Yes I have looked for new leather on the Sport interior I have now, but it is still expensive... They are talking about prices of 2000 - 2500 euro for real leather interior. In the Netherlands, that is.
Also found a company in Germany that makes artificial leather covers for your interior, but after some e-mails I have not heard of them since. I think they don't want to sell.
So the search continues...

Re: Kit Tuning Seat Toledo MK1
Corrado interiors are still popular here. A lot of people want it = high prices.
Sometimes I see a semi-leather interior in Germany, but in most situations it is damaged... no go.
However, I keep looking for a nice solution.

Re: Kit Tuning Seat Toledo MK1
Thank you, will do! If there are exciting offers from Spain that can ship to the Netherlands you may always inform me... and otherwise of course.
There are several Seat-related clubs here.
